Mental Health day week celebration-Short Film Presentation

As part of the Mental Health Day Week celebration, the students of the Psychology Department screened a short film titled “The Night Call,” which explored themes with a strong psychological background. Following the screening, the students were divided into five groups for an in-depth psychological analysis of the film. Each group engaged in discussions and shared their perspectives, interpreting the characters, emotions, and underlying psychological concepts portrayed in the film. The session encouraged critical thinking, self-expression, and collaborative learning, allowing students to connect theoretical knowledge with real-life situations depicted in the short film.

The Department of Psychology, MES Kalladi College Mannarkkad, as part of the Mental Health Week Celebration, is organizing a workshop exclusively for psychology students titled “Beyond Blues: Workshop on Crisis Intervention.” The session will be conducted by Mr. Mishab A K, Director and Licensed Clinical Psychologist (UAE & India), Mind Weavers. This interactive workshop aims to help students understand the nature of psychological crises and develop practical skills in effective crisis management and intervention.
