The Media Club Formation Meeting was held on 11 September 2026 at the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication. The meeting was coordinated by Dr. Vishnu K. J., Nashariya K., and Alif Shan. Student coordinators were selected, and discussions were held regarding the club’s upcoming activities. The meeting also decided to limit the club’s membership to ensure effective participation and coordination.

National Honey bee day

The National Honey Bee Day Celebration was organized by the Departments of Botany and Zoology, MES Kalladi College (Autonomous), Mannarkkad, to create awareness among students about the ecological and economic importance of honey bees. The programme focused on bee conservation, biodiversity, beekeeping, and the entrepreneurial potential of apiculture. Honey, beeswax products, and Honey Cola were displayed and sold, providing students with practical exposure to bee products and promoting beekeeping as a sustainable livelihood opportunity.
