2 Day National Seminar 2025- Botany

The Department of Botany, MES Kalladi College, Mannarkkad (Autonomous), successfully organized a Two-Day National Seminar on "Ecological Resilience in a Changing Climate: Strategies for Sustainable Adaptation" on 15th and 16th December 2025, with support from the PM-USHA scheme. The seminar was inaugurated by Dr. P. Jayanthi, Assistant Professor, Department of Environmental Science, Periyar University, Salem, who also delivered the keynote address. The event featured invited talks by prominent academicians and researchers: - Prof. (Dr.) Maya C. Nair – Principal, Government Arts and Science College, Tholanur - Dr. Resmi S. – Research Associate, Botanical Survey of India (BSI), Coimbatore - Dr. Pramod Kumar N. – Assistant Professor, Department of Botany, NSS College, Ottapalam - Dr. K. Kishore Kumar – Associate Professor, Department of Botany, Farook College, Kozhikode The programme included paper and poster presentations by students and researchers from various institutions, both online and offline. Sessions explored key areas such as climate change, ecosystem resilience, and sustainable adaptation strategies, providing valuable academic and research insights.
