INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR ON GLOBAL HORIZONS IN SCIENCE: EXPLORING JAPAN THROUGH THE SAKURA SCIENCE EXCHANGE PROGRAM FUNDED BY THE GOVERNMENT OF JAPAN

The Research & Postgraduate Department of Chemistry at MES Kalladi College organized an enriching International Seminar on Global Horizons in Science: Exploring Japan through the Secura Science Exchange Program Funded by the Government of Japan on August 14, 2025, 10.00 am, at Ambedkar Hall. The inaugural ceremony was graced by Dr. C Rajesh, Principal of the college. Dr. Mohammed Musthafa T N, Head of the Department, delivered the welcome address, setting the tone for the event. The esteemed guest Dr. P K Hashim delivered a presentation about the Secura Science Exchange Program highlighting its scope, research opportunities and unique features. He also shared insights into Japan’s culture, research landscape, and the benefits of international collaboration. The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Nihala Nasarin, research scholar of the department of chemistry. The total participation of students was 140.
